College student and inventor Alignment: Good Brief History: (by book to make more sense and trying to avoid series spoilers) The Bad Beginning: Housefire that killed her parents and brought in the now infamous Count Olaf. One invention from this period is her grappling hook made from some old clothes and metal rods. Klaus was slapped across the face by Olaf during the course of the book and Violet was almost forced into marriage but was saved by Klaus. Things appear to be brighter but now really. The Reptile Room: Book guardian is Dr. Montgomery Montgomery and Olaf was also behind is death. What saves the day was Sunny's well timed scream. She also makes a lockpick during the course of the book. The Wide Window: Violet makes a signal device out of various things. The family's guardian was Josephine Anwhistle (who is eaten by leeches) and Sunny's well timed bit into the fake leg of Olaf's sailor outfit saved the day. The Austere Academy: We meet the Quagmires! The triplets become Violet and Klaus's best friends while in boarding school. Duncan's clue also leads to the first peek into the VFD. The Ersatz Elevator: The next round of guardians are the Squalors. This book also explains why the 3 now hate pinstripes and parsley soda. The Vile Village: The Village of Fowl Devotees come into the ongoing puzzle. Sunny also takes her first steps and the 3 decide to run away with the police after being accused in the murder of Jacques Snicket. The Hostile Hospital: Violet pulls a MacGyver via her intercoom system. They end up at Heimlich Hospital and take jobs within. They also get a page of a file but not many clues are within the single page. Violet is also the almost subject of a Crainioectomy performed by Olaf when she is saved by Esme and her family. The Carnivorous Carnival: She attempts to make a cart as an escape option. Madame Lulu becomes guardian and the 3 hide out as circus freaks. They also find another link into the VFD and are almost killed yet again. The Slippery Slope: Bruce and the snow scouts become guardians and they go into hiding as Snow Scouts. Sunny is abused by Olaf and made to sleep in the cold (Violet hates even speaking of that period since it makes her angry still). A waterfall somehow happens and they lose Quigley yet again. The Penultimate Peril: We are now at the Hotel Denouement and we also meet Kit Snicket. Klaus remeets Sir and Charles from The Miserable Mill. We learn it is possible the Hook-Handed Man and Fiona (Klaus does have a small crush on her) stole the sub from a prior book. The family also escapes via boat, but in the same boat as Count Olaf. The End: We flee the now in flames Hotel Denouement but in the same boat as Olaf. They land on an island where Olaf makes himself King and everyone seems to think of Ishmael's requests as orders. Finn and Erewhon help the 3 slip into a room to find weapons and Violet and Klaus team to create some unusual and very them ideas. We learn the now deceased parents may have been the islands leaders along with finding a map and enormous history of the island entitled A Series of Unfortunate Events. Post escape/mutiny the 3 do escape and become the adopted parents of Kit's child and they bury her and Olaf side by side. List of Abilities/Powers: Normal human but she is an inventor and quite the miss fix it. She is also very known for her on the fly thinking, which has come in handy more than once. She is also a bit of a dumpster diver since as she would say,"the best ideas come from what people toss". 9:46 pm	Anyone else still in town? Thanksgiving is just not a big deal in England and to be honest I did not want to spend the whole vacation in various airports. *private to those that know about Count Olaf* First holiday free from you know who so I'm going to work on finding Klaus and Sunny plus a couple of projects. But anyone want to make cookies Friday afternoon? Rose: I can bring a batch over for you. *private to Luna* I had to see the shrink too, because of Olaf (I guess anyone with history was on the list besides you guys). Just wanted to make sure you're holding up and I'm still here if you want company since I knew Lana was going back to Smallville for the holiday. 10:43 pm	Well I did something I would have never done while on the run, I went to a frat party. Granted I knew I have to start being social and take chances again so this was an easy way to start. I was a mad scientist since I am a lady of science, just added the wires and the bag of parts. But I actually had a great time, ok I knew the outfit would cause questions and well for once I was very ok with that. But maybe this really is my second chance post Count Olaf and maybe soon I can spill the whole story. Of course Luna,Alice and Rose know everything, I will not keep this big a secert from them. Today I will be at the library for most of the day, got a new lead into where my brother and sister might be. Alice,Luna and Rose: I'll be out for most of the day, research and since tommorow is trash day I'll hit a few of the dumpsters. (Comment on this)

1:22 am	Family, All I Have Left I'm keeping a promise I made to Rose, Luna and Alice but here are the photos of my brother and sister. Klaus My brother Klaus is addicted to books the way I am addicted to science. That is what makes us the perfect team: his books and my brain have saved us more than once. He is 18 now and would just be getting out of the foster care system and knowing my brother he would be an English major. He will read anything he can get his hands on so I've seen everything from my science manuals to comic books. Sunny Sunny may be a little girl but she has a unique weapon: her teeth. I've told my suitemates some of the more memorable tales but she has used her teeth to save me and Klaus more than once. There is the elevator shaft story but I'll save that one for another time. There is also the Scrabble tiles as teething rings but most everyone knows that story by now. She is about to turn 4. I miss them so much.... Since Olaf killed our parents they are all I have left of my family and my heart can not be whole untill I find them and ruin what Olaf wanted. Since I am about to start crying again I will end this for now. But come Tuesday I am hoping to speak with one more PI, a Mick St John. I have everything from Europe but now I want my family back. 4:35 pm	Just got off the phone with 3 of the PI's I've spoken with over the last few days. All they need is some paperwork from England and anything I have in terms of where my brother and sister could be now. Klaus is 18 now so he would be just getting out of foster care and going to university. So I've called up some old friends of ours and maybe they can get word to him I'm trying to find him. Sunny will be the challenge since she's only 4, but my heart can not be whole till I find my family. The fire and Olaf took my parents but he will not take my brother and sister from beyond without a fight! But there has been plenty of good along the way: like meeting Gabbi via dumpster diving. She and I agree, some of the best ideas for inventions come from the things people toss. But this week I found parts of a broken microwave, 2 golf clubs, parts of a fish tank and my biggest find so far parts from a broken space heater. At least I prewarned Rose, Luna and Alice of my inventing since there is now a huge box of parts and the beginnings of a proto-type for a new idea. Speaking of them I did get lucky in the suitemate race: Alice and Rose have boyfriends so I don't see them much but its like Luna and I are on the same page on so many levels. But for now I'm hitting the junkayrd, tommorow is trash day! Yes I love trash day since it means new parts. 1:16 pm	(KSU) First Week in the States So far my first week in the states has been nothing short of an adventure. Mostly its the first time in several years I'm not living in fear of Count Olaf.... Between classes, meeting my suitemates, hitting the dumpsters and junkyards (I will explain this) and looking for a job there has never been a dull moment. But that's what this thing is for so here goes nothing. Classes are low key for right now but I'm looking at taking a class in auto repair for the summer and maybe one other science, just can't decide on one! There's so many great options and being an inventor just makes it ten times harder. But I met a fellow science major in Gabbi via the dumpsters. I should explain, we both use parts from dumpsters and the junkyard in our projects. The best ideas do come from things people toss I think and turns out she agrees with me. Plus my foster parents joked I would easily win the gold if dumpster diving was an Olympic sport! As for the suitemates I got so lucky on that front! Luna is a total sweetheart, Alice is just very cool and I just need to offically meet Rose (but she sounds just as great from what the others have told me). But I think they are ready for my boxes of parts and ongoing projects all summer. Just can only hope I don't have a Olaf induced flashback or worse in front of them just yet.... Can anyone suggest a good local PI with experience in finding missing family members? I made the decision to kick the search for Klaus and Sunny into overdrive. But since Klaus is about to turn 18 it might work in my favor this time around, keep hitting dead ends and well I'm just more on fire to find them. But I wish Klaus was here as well as Sunny, Olaf has taken 3 years with them away from me! He is not going to take anything else since he has already taken so much as it is! 12:22 pm	_ksu_ First day in America and part of me already wants to set up an in room alarm system... To be truthful I understand science better than I do people, unless its my brother and sister. I miss Klaus and Sunny more than anyone could understand and I am going to get my family back. That reminds me, I should be ladylike and introducte myself. My name is Violet Baudelaire and I am a freshman at Kansas State in the sciences, just can't decide on just one science to study to be truthful. My passion is inventing so that should explain the boxes full of parts I lug into the dorms, some of my best ideas come from the things people decide to toss. There is also my habit of dumpster diving but I'll save that for another entry. Yes the stories about Count Olaf are true... Sorry, I'm still trying to recover and that's one major reason I left Europe. Just wanted to start over and just be seen as Violet, not Violet the constant runaway on the run from a total wackmobile as I heard someone say on campus today. But I'm going to see this as a new start, but I wish Klaus and Sunny were here.... For now I'll sign off but ask this: is there a good flea market in the area and the address of the local junkyard (plus a good PI, I have to know my sister is not in Olaf or any of his henchmen's clutches plus find my brother).
